Documents & e-signatures

Send contracts for signature, collect signatures, and keep the proof.

Any document type

Build contracts, SOWs, NDAs, or anything else with the same block editor as proposals, plus signature blocks assigned to a signer by role.

Add signers, then send

Add each signer (name, email, role) while the document is still a draft, then Send for signature. PULSE emails every signer their own unique signing link; you can also copy a signer's link to share it yourself.

Signing

A signer opens their link — no account needed — reviews the document, and draws or types their signature. Every view, signature, and decline is recorded in the audit trail with a timestamp and IP address. The document is marked Signed once all signers complete.

Declining with feedback

A signer can decline instead of signing, and leave a reason plus the specific changes they'd like. That feedback appears right on the document so you know exactly what to revise.

Signature evidence & certificate

After signing, open the document's History & files to see each captured signature, who signed, when, and from where. A Certificate of Completion shows the executed document with the signatures filled into their blocks plus the full audit trail — export it as a PDF or print it. Previewing a signed document in the builder shows those same filled-in signatures, so what you see on screen matches the certificate.

Everyone gets the completed copy

As soon as the last signer signs, PULSE emails every signer a link to the completed Certificate of Completion — the fully-executed document with all signatures and the audit trail. The link opens in the browser with no account required, so each party can view or download their own copy any time.

Locking & revisions

Only drafts are editable — once a document is sent, its content is locked so it can't change out from under a signature. If the client asks for changes before signing, use Create revision: it voids the current version (its signing links stop working), then opens a new editable draft with the same content and signers, ready to re-send. Duplicate instead starts an independent fresh copy.

Making a new version of a signed document

A signed document can't be revised — it's a completed, executed record, so Create revision is only offered for a document that has been sent but not yet signed. To produce a new version of one that's already signed, open it and use Duplicate: it starts an independent new draft with the same content, leaving the signed original untouched as your evidence. Add the signers again on the copy (Duplicate doesn't carry them over), then send it for signature. This is also how you'd start an amendment to a signed agreement.

Create revision shows only while a document is sent but unsigned; on a signed document, use Duplicate.

Versioning & files

Documents keep a version history you can restore from (while still a draft), and you can attach supporting files directly to the record.
