AI settings, guidance and your allowance

Switch AI features on or off, tell the assistant what it may use, and see this month’s usage.

Owners and admins manage AI in Settings → AI. Every workspace has AI on from the start, with a monthly allowance of tokens included.

Switches

One switch turns AI on or off for the whole workspace; below it, each feature has its own. Off means no request leaves PULSE for that feature and its buttons disappear for everyone. A workspace that handles controlled information can switch AI off entirely, or keep only the features it is comfortable with.

  • Draft emails

What the assistant may use

The guidance box holds facts the AI may put into what it writes: your meeting link, what you sell, your tone, topics to avoid, how to sign off. It is added to email drafts, suggested replies and meeting prep. Without it the AI will not invent a meeting link or a price — it leaves a placeholder and tells you what it needed. Up to 4,000 characters.

Your allowance

  • The page shows tokens used this month against your allowance, and when it resets. It resets at the start of each month (UTC); unused tokens do not carry over.
  • From 80% the page warns that you are close. At 100% AI pauses until the reset — every AI button then says so instead of failing.
  • Need more? Token packs add to your allowance every month until removed. Ask your PULSE account contact to add one.

Who used what

Two tables show this month’s use by feature (with how many people found it useful or not) and by person. Scheduled work that runs on its own, such as sorting replies and the morning brief, appears as “Scheduled jobs”.
