What a campaign is
A campaign sends a single email to many contacts at once — a product update, newsletter, or announcement. Each recipient gets their own tracked copy, so opens and clicks roll up into the campaign's results. Find it under Comms → Campaigns.
Build the email
- Give the campaign a name and a subject line (personalize it with merge fields like {{contact.first_name}}).
- Build the body in the block editor, or pick "Start from an email template" to load a saved template's content and tweak it for this campaign — the original template is left untouched.
- Save your draft at any time from the Details section.
Choose the audience
Send to every emailable contact, to contacts matching a filter, or to a saved Contacts view. The filter option targets any contact field — lifecycle stage, tags, or your own custom fields — and the builder shows a live count of how many contacts will receive it. Archived, unsubscribed, and no-email contacts are always excluded.
Send or schedule
Send immediately, or pick a date and time to schedule it. Sending always includes your latest edits. While a send is in progress the results page updates on its own — you don't need to reload it to see when it finishes.
Results & analytics
A sent campaign shows Recipients, Sent, Opens, Clicks, Unsubscribes, and Bounces — each with a rate. It also lists exactly who received it, with each person's status (opened, clicked, bounced, or unsubscribed), and states the audience in plain language so you can see the criteria that were used.
Reuse & follow up
A campaign is a single send — that keeps each campaign's analytics clean and protects deliverability. To reach a different segment, use Duplicate: it copies the content and audience into a fresh draft to point wherever you want. To re-reach the people who didn't open, use Resend to non-openers, which creates a follow-up draft targeting exactly those recipients (tip: change the subject line before you send it).
Compliance
Every campaign includes an unsubscribe footer and honors your workspace's suppression list and marketing-consent settings, in line with CAN-SPAM and GDPR. Unsubscribes are attributed to the campaign that prompted them, so a rising unsubscribe rate is easy to spot.
