Pipelines and stages
Create as many pipelines as you need (Sales, Renewals, Partnerships). Each stage has a name, color, and win probability, and an optional WIP limit. Reorder stages by dragging.
Work the board
Drag a deal card between stages on the kanban board, or switch to a sortable list view. Each column shows its deal count, total value, and weighted value (value times probability). If a stage has a WIP limit, its count turns red when the number of open deals goes over — a nudge to close or move deals before piling on more.
The deal record
Open a deal to see its timeline, line items, documents, and tasks side by side, with a details and intelligence panel alongside.
- Timeline — schedule a meeting from the record and it appears here and on the Calendar; click it any time to edit or delete it. Tasks work the same way.
- Contacts — the primary contact plus a buying committee: add other stakeholders and give each a role (Decision Maker, Champion, Blocker, and so on).
- Line items — add the products or services on the deal with quantities, pricing, and per-line discounts; click any line to edit or remove it.
- Documents — create, send, and delete proposals and documents right from the deal.
Deal intelligence
Every deal shows recommended next steps and an intelligence panel built entirely from your own data — never made-up numbers. When there is not enough history yet, it says so instead of guessing.
- Recommended next steps — real prompts from this deal’s activity, documents, and close date (for example, "no logged activity in 12 days" or "proposal opened 2 days ago — follow up").
- Win likelihood — an estimate that blends the stage’s target probability with your pipeline’s actual historical win rate, and shows both inputs so you can see how it got there.
- Similar won deals — real past deals like this one, with their average time to close.
- Draft follow-up email — an AI draft you review and edit before sending.
Totals: discounts, tax, and recurring revenue
The line-items panel adds it all up: a subtotal after per-line discounts, then an optional deal-level discount and tax, to a final total. Subscription products are split out as recurring revenue so you can see one-time versus recurring at a glance. Edit the deal discount and tax right in the totals block.
Stage gates and duplicates
Require certain fields or documents before a deal reaches a stage — for example, a deal value before "Proposal", or a sent proposal before "Negotiation". Gates are enforced everywhere a deal moves and when you create one directly into a gated stage. When you create a deal whose title matches an existing open deal, PULSE warns you so you don’t double-enter the same opportunity.
Forecasting and pipeline health
Switch the deals view to Forecast to roll up open deals by expected close month, split into Commit, Best case, and Pipeline by probability — deals with no close date or that are overdue are surfaced separately, never dropped. A pipeline-health strip above the board shows your average deal age, average sales cycle, and win rate, and flags deals that have gone quiet (no activity in 14+ days) or slipped past their close date.
