Where to find it
“From notes” sits beside Call, Note and Meeting on a contact or deal, and next to Log activity at the top of a company. Use the company one when you called a company and spoke to someone who is not in PULSE yet.
How it works
- Paste your notes and click Suggest.
- AI proposes one activity — type, title, a short summary and the outcome — and up to six follow-up tasks with a due date and priority. It proposes only what your notes call for; no tasks is a valid answer.
- People you spoke with: someone already in PULSE is linked; anyone new is proposed as a new contact with only the details your notes give — never a guessed email or phone. New people are ticked.
- A deal: when your notes describe a real opportunity — a need, a budget, a request for a quote, a timeline — AI proposes one, with a value and close date only if you stated them. If the notes are about an open deal already in PULSE, it offers to link to that one instead of creating a duplicate. A new deal is unticked: tick it to create it, in the pipeline you pick. On a deal record no deal is proposed.
- Edit anything and untick what you do not want. The priorities offered are your workspace’s own.
- Click Create selected. Only then is anything saved.
What gets created
New contacts are created at the company, as leads owned by you; if someone with the same email already exists, that contact is linked instead. The activity is logged on the contact you spoke with, the deal and the company, with your original notes kept under the summary — your notes are the record. Tasks are assigned to you and linked to the deal, else the contact, else the company.
