What gets sorted
Replies from people who are contacts in PULSE, including replies to mail sent through a connected cold-email tool. Mail from strangers in a synced inbox is not sorted and not charged. A reply is usually labelled within about five minutes of arriving; replies more than three days old are not picked up.
The labels
- Interested — wants to talk, buy, or see more.
- Question — asks something that needs an answer.
- Wrong person — not the right contact, or points to someone else.
- Not now — not interested at the moment, or asks to follow up later.
- Out of office — an automatic away reply.
- Asks to unsubscribe — asks to stop receiving email.
- Other — anything else.
Where you see them
In the Email inbox each sorted reply shows its label, and chips above the list filter by label with a count. Open a reply and a bar above the reply buttons shows the label, why it was chosen, and what you can do.
Acting on a label
- Follow up tomorrow — creates a task for you, due tomorrow, on the deal (or the contact when there is no deal).
- Unsubscribe them — for “Asks to unsubscribe”. It asks once more, then unsubscribes the address from marketing email the same way an unsubscribe link does.
- Change the label — pick the right one, or clear it. A correction is recorded as feedback on the sorter; agreeing counts too.
What it never does
A label is a suggestion. It never unsubscribes anyone, creates a task or moves a deal by itself — “please take me off the CC” and “take me off your list” can read alike, so a person makes that call.
