PULSE uses AI to take routine work off your day: proposing a reply, sorting what came in, summing up what is waiting on you, preparing you for a meeting, turning notes into tasks, and reading a survey’s written answers. Every one of them drafts or suggests; none of them sends, creates or changes anything until you click.
Where each feature lives
- Suggested replies — open an email someone sent you (the Email page, or any contact or deal timeline) and click “Suggest a reply” next to Reply.
- Sorting incoming replies — a label such as Interested or Out of office on each reply from a contact: in the Email inbox (with filter chips above the list) and in a bar above the reply buttons when you open the email.
- Your Day (daily brief) — a dashboard widget, plus a notification at 7:00 each morning in your workspace’s time zone.
- Meeting prep — “Prepare for a meeting” under the action buttons on a contact, and in “Recommended next steps” on a deal.
- Notes into tasks — “From notes” beside Call, Note and Meeting on a contact or deal, and next to Log activity on a company.
- What’s next — when you complete a task linked to a contact, deal or company, a small card at the bottom of the screen offers to suggest the follow-up tasks. Add a line on how it went, click Suggest next steps, and pick what to create. It runs only when you click; switch it off in Settings → AI.
- Survey summary — the “What people wrote” card on a survey’s results page.
- Also AI: “Draft follow-up email” on a deal and “Draft with AI” in the email composer, the AI Insights dashboard widget, the suggestion button for a custom field’s help text (Settings → Fields), “Suggest with AI” for lead scoring (Settings → Lifecycle & Scoring), and drafting and translation in the Academy.
Rules every feature follows
- A person always decides. AI drafts and suggests; you review, edit, send or create.
- It works from your records — the contact, company, deal, documents, emails and shared activity — plus the guidance your workspace gives it. When it lacks a fact such as a meeting link, it says so instead of making one up.
- Private activity is never used. Notes logged as personal stay out of every AI feature.
- Email and survey text is treated as something to read, never as instructions, so a message that says “ignore your instructions” cannot steer it.
- It can be switched off — for the whole workspace or one feature at a time — and then its buttons disappear.
- Every use is counted against your workspace’s monthly allowance, and the prompt and reply are never stored — only who used which feature, and how many tokens it took.
Telling it whether it helped
Most AI results carry a thumbs up and down. PULSE also notes whether an AI draft was sent as written, edited first, or thrown away. Together these show which features earn their place in your workspace (Settings → AI → By feature).
